Ronaldo is persuading Real Madrid to buy Portuguese striker

Cristiano Ronaldo is persuading Real Madrid executives to sign Andre Silva - sources in Portugal suggests.

The Blancos' superstar knows 21-year-old player very well and that is why he opts for such a transfer. Silva's future depends on the situation of Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata - if one of them decides to leave Madrid, Florentino Perez will consider Ronaldo's recommendation.

Silva became FC Porto player in 2011. His debut in the first team took place four years later. Since then, he has played for The Dragons in 50 matches, and has been able to score 23 goals.

What is interesting, 20 of those goals were scored in current season - 15 in Portuguese Primeira Liga, 5 in Champions League and its qualifications. He is also a major contributor in Portuguese national team, scoring four goals in five games.

Real Madrid board may face a huge challenge because Silva is valued at around 60 million euros.
