Monaco midfielder could have ended up in FC Barcelona

Bernardo Silva could have moved to FC Barcelona, as reported by 'Mundo Deportivo'.

The 22-year-old plays great football in Monaco kit. He was one of the best players on the pitch during the game against Manchester City, won by his side 3-1. The Portuguese international had an assist in Kylian Mbappe's goal - which was his 10th overall in current season.

From time to time, Silva is being linked with transfers to other clubs. Spanish press claims that he was close to sign for FC Barcelona last summer.

However, the deal was not completed due to the decision of Arda Turan. In the end, the Turkish international decided not to continue his career in China and that was crucial in case of buying Silva.

It will not be easy to sign him during the next transfer window, as he is being observed by scouts from Arsenal, Chelsea, or Juventus.
