Brendan Rodgers has prolonged his contract with Celtic FC.
The Irish manager agreed with the club executives upon the terms of his new deal and prolonged it up to June 2021.
Rodgers started his journey with Scottish team right before the start of current campaign. At the beginning, his players did not play very well, as they struggled to win with Lincoln FC from Gibraltar in Champions League qualification first round (0-1, 3-0).
Later on, Celtic was playing better and better and now they have a streak of 24 games without a loss. Last time when they were defeated was against FC Barcelona (0-2) in November 2016.
The outstanding form of The Bhoys resulted in claiming the domestic league title as the first team in Europe this season, which took place on 2nd April when they defeated Hearts (5-0). Celtic has still got seven league games to play and their advantage over the second club (Aberdeen) is 23 points.
