Marco van Ginkel is leaving Chelsea once again.
The Dutchman moved to London in 2013 from Vitesse with a label of highly talented player, but he never managed to break into the starting line-up. The balance of his performances in the Premier League stopped at just two games.
From the 2014/2015 season, the Englishmen regularly loan the midfielder to other clubs, ranging from Milan, through Stoke to PSV. Eindhoven have twice been loaning him for spring rounds in the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 campaigns.
Now the 24-year-old has spent 12 months in his homeland. So far, his goals number at Philips Stadium is very good, as he scored 15 goals in 31 games.
The van Ginkel' contract with Chelsea is valid until June 30, 2019.
