Wesley Sneijder has become a new player of OGC Nice.
The Dutchman arrived yesterday in Nice, where he underwent medical tests and signed a contract with Ligue 1 side.
Sneijder had earlier terminated his deal with Galatasaray, so he could look for a free transfer to other club. He chose a very interesting challenge on the Cote d'Azur.
The Dutchman's agreement in Nice will remain in effect until 30 June 2018 and includes an extension of one season. He cannot count on huge earnings as he negotiated 1.8 million euros per season plus bonuses.
The 33-year-old midfielder is still in very good form. In the previous season of Turkish League in 28 games he scored five goals and added as many as 15 assists.
Sneijder knows Mario Balotelli, who also plays in Nice, very well. Men in the 2009/2010 season played together at Inter.
