Allan Saint-Maximin has become a new player of OGC Nice.
The third team of last Ligue 1 season reported that Saint-Maximin passed a medical test and signed the contract yesterday. OGC Nice did not announce the length of the contract, but in the case of the 20-year-old it will probably be valid until 2022. According to the information given by France Football, Monaco earned about ten million euros. It is the largest expense in the history of the Côte d'Azur club.
The young France international is a Saint-Étienne trainee, in whose colors he made his Ligue 1 debut at the age of sixteen. Two years ago, he joined AS Monaco, who spent five million euros on him. The team from the Duchy initially loaned youngster to other teams, Hannover and Bastia. This season, Saint-Maximin finally got his debut in the colors of the Frenchmen for whom he played in the Super Cup and later in the league.
Monaco's subsequent transfers have prompted the 20-year-old to leave the squad and join the club where he will be able to count on regular play.
