Ryad Boudebouz has become a new player of Real Betis.
The 25-times Algeria international who has so far played in Montpellier has joined the new club until June 30, 2021.
According to previous reports from the French media, Betis paid seven million euros for him. For the club of Andalusia it is one of the biggest transactions in history. In addition, Montpellier has probably earned 20 percent of the proceeds from the next 27-year-old's transfer and bonuses.
For Boudebouz, this will be the first non-French club. To Montpellier he went from Bastia in 2015. Since then, 73 official games have taken place. As for the last season, the extremely versatile midfielder who can also play on both wings scored 11 goals and recorded nine assists in 33 Ligue 1 matches.
Most of the media sees Sochaux trainee as successor of Daniel Ceballos. The star of the recent European Youth Championship left Betis for Real Madrid a few weeks ago.
