Jürgen Klopp has denied a possibility of selling Philippe Coutinho this summer.
Barcelona have been watching the Brazilians closely for months, and recently there has been huge speculation concerning Liverpool player. All thanks to the record transfer of Neymar, which caused a gap in the squad of "Barca", who must fill it as soon as possible. Coutinho was set to replace his compatriot and then took over the role currently played by Andres Iniesta.
The player is one of the biggest Premier League stars and the "Pride of Catalonia" were ready to give even 100-120 million euros for him. Some media reported that this is satisfactory for "The Reds", but the manager of Liverpool has a completely different opinion.
"From a financial point of view, there is no top-down price limit for which we can sell him, nor is there an amount that would convince us. Our goal is to have the best possible team. That is why we intend to keep our players and add new ones to them. That is our plan," said Klopp.
"Today no football player in the world is untouchable. But the transfer is also dependent on when it is due and whether you have the opportunity and the need to react to such a move. You also have to ask yourself if you have time to react. But one query from one club does not compel us to think like that. We are not in this situation. Liverpool is not a club to sell. In the end, how much they pay does not matter."
