Sport director of Borussia Dortmund, Michel Zorc, has spoken about the transfer chaos around Ousmane Dembélé.
The French player who is wanted by Barcelona did not take part in Thursday's BVB training. As confirmed by a German club coach, Peter Bosz: "We do not know why this happened or where he is. We tried to contact him but failed."
Zorc decided to comment on the confusion and gave the impression that the competitor would face the consequences.
"Ousmane Dembélé left today's training. It was a conscious decision and he would be punished for it."
"Contrary to all reports, he is currently in Dortmund. So far, after talks with the coach, we decided to suspend him at least until the Saturday game of the German Cup against Rielasingen-Arlen," the official website BVB cites.
Recall that Borussia's leaders have already informed that they actually talked about the Frenchman with Barcelona, but the proposal by the Catalans was unacceptable and was rejected. Previously, Le Parisien reported that the transfer of Dembélé was essentially a foregone conclusion.
