Ivan Perišić has signed a new deal with Inter.
The new Croatian contract will be valid until 30 June 2022. The Nerazzurri did not, however, give details of the agreement.
They are interesting because a little earlier the Italian media reported that a €70 million release clause was to be entered into the contract. "La Gazzetta dello Sport" also wrote about the preparation of the "anti-United" clause, which would make it difficult to sign him for Manchester United.
"Red Devils" for a long time fought for Perišić. The British giant, however, was unable to communicate with Inter activists who did not want to get rid of their player, holding to a valuation of £50m.
Perišić has been at Inter since 2015, when he moved to the Italian peninsula for €19 million from Wolfsburg. Since then, he has played in 80 official games in Milan team's jersey. He scored 21 goals and added as many assists. This season he started with a goal and three assists in Serie A matches against Fiorentina and Roma (3-0, 3-1).
